Updated Speedometer Correction?
Hey folks,
I am aware of the 3-wire Speedohealer method of correcting the speedometer when stepping up in tire size... but 1. I don't want to spend $109 and 2. Something just doesn't feel right about making something meant for something else work for this application.
Does anyone know of any updated solutions/ devices?

I love mine, I was able to match the speed perfectly using a sensitive GPS app on my phone for verification.

From what I understand, by fixing the speedo, you also fix the ODO and MPG calculation.
I am excited to see what we can do with this thing and I'll do a reset on the trip ODO and MPG thing to see what changes I get!!!

Good stuff! I’ve been wanting to correct mine for a while, primarily for the odo to correct the mileage. I’ll have to look into these. Let us know how it does for you.

My Kenwood Excelon DMX706S receiver reads the MPH/RPM etc. from the ECU, it corrected that as well! Also, my read out of AVG. MPH is correct now too.

Fixing the speedo will fix the ODO, but not the MPG calculation.
I went with the original speedohealer when I first went up in tire size about 6 years ago. I’ve tested it against a gps and the speed and odometer is spot on. The MPG on the dash is consistent, but not accurate. It’s about 2-2.5 MPG’s every tank.

So the install took maybe 30 minutes (I used proper joints and heat shrink) and the results are in- ITS PERFECT!!
It is spot on now, for whatever reason my fuel tank capacity (mileage wise) went from being at 275mi until empty to 315mi until empty.
The other thing I like about the unit is that if I go to 37's, I just push some buttons and voila. Same with going back down to 33's.
I finally scratched that itch I couldn't before, and it's great!
10/10 would recommend.

Update!
Ive driven on the setup for quite awhile now and I love it. My MPG in the city is 14.3 on 35's (it used to show 11.5 to 11.7) and 17 hwy (used to show 13.4)!! A full fuel tank used to show 244mi until empty, but now consistently fills to 330-334
I am also pleased to utilize the Maintenance light feature for accurate oil change intervals again too.
All-in-all, this was more than worth the money to me.

This was one of those mods that after install, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
Right up there with replacing squeaky blower motor, scratched gauge cluster lens, or squeaky brake pads.
