Will This Work? 285/70/17 on 17x9 -12mm Offset
As I search around the net, I'm seeing mixed responses on this setup. I have a 2007 T4R Sport on Bilstein 5100 shocks which I believe are lifted 2.5" front and 1" rear.
I'm looking at a set of wheels which are 17x9 with a -12mm offset with 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T III tires.
I'm seeing some people mention that tire size will rub. I'm planning on running the -12mm offset wheels so I'm assuming this will make it even worse?
If these tire sizes won't work, what's the recommendation? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: After more research, looks like they certainly will rub. What's everyone's suggestion on wheel size/offset and tire size with my Bilstein 5100's? I very rarely hit the trails, maybe twice/year.
