Skid control Icon comes on and beeping ???

I just installed new LCAs' and took it for a drive. All the sudden the skid control icon came on and beep, beep, beep and no acceleration. If I engage CDL it engages and VSC lights up and I can accelerate and skid control icon goes away, disengage CDL and skid control icon back on and no acceleration.
I checked just turning key on and icon appears and then goes away as does VSC.
This is an '03 V8 Limited, so AWD.
I'm stumped! Any thoughts? Thanks.

I wonder if you need to do the Zero Point Calibration paperclip reset on it. It sounds confused.

Yup a ZPC would be first thing to try.
Lots of info on the site.

Can also damage the ABS wire messing with your control arms if your not careful. (Wheel speed sensor, i think it is)

Thanks guys, I found the paper clip method for ZPC, so once I'm comfortable knowing what I'm doing I'll give it a try, will keep you posted.

Real easy to test the abs wire too.
Multi-meter on continuity setting.
Unplug in engine bay over wheel well and at the hub speed sensor.
Use a bit of wire, speaker wire or whatever you have to extend you muli-meter on one side.
Dont even have to pull the abs wire of the 4runner to test this way.

Talking

Well, maybe this was an "STS" event, stranger than science! Today I wanted to concentrate on getting my steering wheel back to center as after installing the new LCAs' SW was off center maybe 5 degrees. So I loosened the LCA bolts, jacked 4Runner up turned SW through lock-to-lock a few times and noticed when SW was straight it appeared DS front wheel was pointing outward as compared to PS front wheel so I focused on that. Dropped $run back to earth, tightened the LCA bolts back up and adjusted the DS steering rod to pull that wheel inboard. Measured toe and it was 3/4" toe in and they "looked " good so I quit for the day.
Oh yeah, I pulled/pushed the ABS cable at each front wheel and also where connects over wheel well to be sure all tight.
This evening decided to take it for a drive and see how it felt. SURPRISE ... no more skid control icon came on during my drive, accelerated to 60 mph several times (not possible yesterday as it wouldn't go unless I activated CDL) activated CDL several times, it worked fine, stopped, turned off engine and sat for a minute, restarted and drove on home above 42 mph where the skid control was taking over yesterday.
So, good news for me, don't know what I did but I'll take it!

Really easy to diy the zpc.
Really should do it after lifting.
...and adjust the headlights.

I realize your just replacing parts.
