Fluid Film, when?

For those of you that apply fluid film or other undercoating products annually, when do you do it? Around now in September or is it too soon? Do you wait until November just before it snows? I'm in the Northeast and the roads get heavily salted around here. I've had this 4Runner for just under a year so this will be the 1st application. In addition to winter duty, I also took it out on the beach twice this year, w/ more days planned for next year. Most likely going to have a shop do it and just not sure if I should take it in now or wait a lil bit.

IMO if you are doing fluid film you should do it before the first salting and then again after the last salting. You have to make sure the inside of the frame is coated really well as these rust from the inside out too. I did FF last fall and it was gone in the spring so plan on spraying something heavier myself this year.
