Appreciating Great Customer Service

Mods: If this post violates any forum guidelines, please feel free to take it down.
Many of us are quick to complain when we receive poor service so I wanted to take a moment to commend some great service I received. I just bought an aftermarket spoiler from a guy on ebay after seeing Nahrah's post about installing one on his T4R.. If anyone wants the name of the seller just PM me and I'll give it to you. I don't want to violate any forum rules. Anyway, I received the spoiler in about 2 days. I didn't open it till Monday and I only did so then to make sure it was in good condition and the color was correct. It looked great. Really seems to be good quality. Then yesterday I was preparing to install it and after looking it over very carefully I found a very small crack/chip in the paint. It was minute and easy to overlook. I emailed the seller to ask what could be done about it, expecting to get the normal run-around. He responded in about an hour. His response was that UPS would be calling me to set up a pick up and he would ship out the replacement that day. About 4 hours later I got another message from him telling me to expect a call from UPS and giving me the tracking number on the replacement. In almost every case I've had like this the seller won't send out the replacement until he receives the defective part. This guy asked no questions and immediately worked to resolve my problem. And I don't fault him at all for sending out the first one with the defect because it was so small and could very easily be overlooked. Anyway, the quality of the part looks really good and the customer service was great. Again, if you're interested in getting a nice spoiler at a great price with great customer service, PM me and I'll give you the seller's ebay name.

I'm sorry to hear you ran into an issue as I know you were getting ready to install it. But I'm glad the seller is correcting the issue. I did inspect mine prior to install and didn't notice any chips or cracks or else I would be in the same boat.

Thanks Nahrah, It was so minor I'm lucky to have noticed. But like I told the seller, I was afraid it would get worse, especially if I were to go through one of those high pressure carwashes. Otherwise, it looked really good. And the replacement one arrived yesterday so I'm on track to install it today or tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

Update: Opened up the new spoiler today and it was perfect. Installed it. Took about 1.5 - 2 hours working by myself. Totally pleased with the product and service. Again, I don't have any connection to the seller, nor would I get paid for promoting him. Just commending his customer service and product. If anyone decides to get an aftermarket one you won't go wrong by going with him.
Sorry no pics.

Looks great man! The non-hump spoilers are so sleek, sometimes I like them better than my hump.

+1 on using Imgur to upload pictures here. I use Imgur as well and it doesn't have watermarks like all the older photobucket pics

Thanks, I really like it. I've never used a photo hosting site before but now that I've done it it's not so bad. Yeah, I hate trying to read a build thread or a writeup that could really help with a mod or repair and you can't see what they're trying to show you in the pics. Photobucket sucks.
