Need replacement spoiler for 04

Has anyone gotten a aftermarket spoiler to replace a damaged OEM? I’ve looked at some on ebay and mounting holes may not line up. There is one painted to match for $115 and another for $144. But I’d hate to have to drill new holes in door. Has anyone had luck using aftermarket and reusing mounting holes. Or does anyone have used OEM in silver? Thanks Dave

I don't know about whether the holes will match or not. But I can tell you a little bit about the aftermarket one you saw for $115. I just bought one and I think it's a really nice item. And the customer service is above and beyond. I just posted about this on here this week. Assuming the seller is the same one,
(autorestylers) you can read all about it here: Appreciating Great Customer Service
I highly recommend the product and the seller.
Edit to add: I messaged the seller and asked him about the holes. I should hear back from him in the morning and I'll let you know what he says.

Yep, drilling new holes is a non starter, especially if you're in wet part of the country. Have you checked wrecking yards or Craig's, "parting out?" I'm kinda new to the 4runner, and I'm finding it very hard to get parts for this truck, and those who have it wanna charge an arm and a leg for parts. There was a 4runner at a PicknPull near where I live, and by the time I got to it, there was literally nothing left!

That’s great to know. Thanks very much. From what I’ve read, there is really only one manufacturer and then others paint and ship. One guy was able to reuse 3 of the 4 mounting holes for his. Mine has a quarter sized hole in it. I may try to patch and repaint.

I messaged the seller I got mine from but he said since it's aftermarket he can't guarantee the holes will line up. He said he could send the dimensions but I don't think you would be able to determine anything by that. But if you want them I can message him again and get them for you. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Thanks very much. I really appreciate it. Do you think you could measure between top and bottom holes on one side? That would give me an idea as to whether I would have to drill.

Yes, I did and I'm happy with it. I do recommend having a helper. It's doable by yourself but it would be a lot easier with someone to help hold it while you put it in place.
