In response to my previous question after having tried to install Lamin-x myself, don’t do it. The stuff is tremendously difficult to work with especially without a heat gun. Ended up scrapping the films.

After sanding the lenses down I went down the path of clear coating the lenses myself then wet sanding with 1500, 2000, and then a polishing compound to get rid of a little orange peel. I think they turned out great.
