Decent jack stand recommendations?

I returned my harbor freight jack stands based on the recall. Looking for a new set of jack stands fairly quickly to swap my summer -> winter wheels/tires. Figure I'll probably buy 6 ton instead of 3 this time around and look at them as a lifetime purchase.

I did a quick search on the forums and found these recommended. I was ready to buy, but noticed they are back ordered for 1-44 days....:

Any other recommendations?

I think harbor freight has been extensively testing all their jack stands. All of them except the recalled model should be good to go. Home depot/ husky might be another option.

for the camrys in the driveway i bought Arcan 3 ton aluminum jack stands and they work fantastic.used the arcans multiple times.
the welds are solid, no gaps in the welds through the jackstands.

i also bought a pair of 3 ton hein werner i think the part# is HW93503? havent used the HW yet but the welds are sold as well, no gaps in the welds. same tight welds as the arcans.

for the 4R, i bought the Hein Werner 6 ton jackstands.

these are big and heavy.. have not used them yet, but the welds look really good.
solid, uniform welds through each of the jackstands and i bought 2 pairs.

I have been using the Torin Big Red double locking jack stands for about three years now, and they work well.

I bought them on Amazon with free shipping.

Anyone else here have an issue with not being able to get their front wheels off the ground with generic SUV jack stands?

Today I was rotating my tires, and my 4-ton Craftsman was too short to reach vehicle's frame, so I kept it on floor jack but I choked wheels well. I'd hate to get rid of my Craftsman's, but it maybe time for a new taller set.

I have what looks like the red version of what you're looking at from Northern Tool. The locking pin is probably not that strong if they were to actually fail, but it makes it so you can pick them up by the heads without them ratcheting out, which is more convenient than I originally thought. They're these: Error | DNS Resolution | Northern Tool + Equipment

Here are some pictures of them in action, unfortunately don't have any close ups on the locking pin or ratcheting mechanism.

this was 1 of the reasons, why i bought the Hein Werner 6 ton HW93506 jack stands.

already have the arcan 3 tons aluminum, which i have been pleased with working with camrys. figured the arcans would not have height for the 4R.

havent used the HW93506, but i can say these stands are HUGE compared to 3 tons jack stands.

Another vote for the Torin Big Reds...

Great height, and have worked great over the past 8 years for my Tundra and now my 4Runner.

I Initially bought two from Amazon then two more from Pep Boys (RIP).

Thanks everyone for the feedback and ideas. I had it narrowed down between the 6T Big Reds and the 6T Pro Lift. They're probably pretty much replicas, they both have the nice triangle shaped double locking pin. Think I'll go with the Pro Lift since they're $10 cheaper per pair.

1,815 reviews on amazon with a 4.8 overall is re-assuring:
Amazon.com: Pro-LifT T-6906D Double Pin Jack Stand - 6 Ton, 1 Pack: Automotive

HD:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pro-Lift...906D/306940038

Planning to buy through HD since ironically the shipping is faster and has the 180 return policy atm.

Also, sharing a lol from one of the very few 1 star reviews,
"The name says “Pro-Lift” but it doesn’t actually lift anything. It’s just a support jack. A little misleading. Maybe name it the “Pro-Support”."

use coupon codes to do online order and then do store pick up, i managet to get some money back since my jack stands went on sale a week after i bought it, they gave me some money back.

i bought both omega and pro lift, one 6 ton and the other is 3 ton, pretty sure its the same thing, i went the cheaper.
