03-05 Black Housing Headlights

Hi, all –

I'm wondering if anyone has tried any black housing style headlights for our 03-05 4Rs?

I would appreciate it if anyone could comment on how they lasted (the brand/where you bought would help) as the few I see do not look like they will hold up.

Thank you!

Yup front and rears on my t4r.
Depo flavor.
Seems to be holding up good for a numder of years.
More than a couple guys running that black style here.

They look way better than the chrome fronts.
Rears get rid of all the red...i think they look better than OEM.

Maybe just me.

Mine are from Akkon. I got them on Amazon. I put new LED bulbs in and with the new house I love them. Ive seen some people say that water can build up inside the housing but if you add some extra sealer around the lip they work great... heres mine with a moose in the background

Those are just what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it seems that they do not produce them anymore...

Sweet! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on them. Would you recommend the bulbs that you put in them?

No, mine are kind of garbage. You get what you pay for so I'd say buy some quality low beams first to see if you like them then go with high beams and fogs later on.
