Missing C-clip on Bilstein 5100 -> Help / Q

Do you know if the c-clip on Bilstein shocks is a common item that I may be able to find at a local part store (and use safely!) or if it's a proprietary design only available from Bilstein ?

I bought a pair of 5100 back in July and I just realized today, as I'm finally getting around to install them, that the c-clip / snap ring is missing on both shocks.

I've ripped the original X-REAS system and removed the old shocks today, so there is no going back and I'm kinda stuck with the vehicle on jack stands.
I know I know ... rooky mistake ... I should have checked first. Somehow I assumed the c-clip would be with the spring seat in the separate bag. From product picture and instructions, I now understand it should have come pre-installed in the lower position.

I'll contact Bilstein support next week but I'm looking for alternatives to finish the install this weekend.

PS: first post after years of lurking ;-)

Yeah they were already installed in the lowest position on my set. If you have a summit racing or 4WD parts near you, might be worth a call to see if they have any. Otherwise, Bilstein will be your best bet.
