I can't imagine how that drives lol.
I had the truck in storage mode due to COVID to prevent flat spots while not travelling to the office. Using the radio to calibrate the tire locations was super easy, including the spare.

I originally bought a Kenwood to get AirPlay & was disappointed on several levels. I replaced it with a Pioneer AVH-2550NEX and it’s been stellar. I did an install write-up that should be useful if you DIY. PM me with any questions, happy to help if I can.

Can the pioneer be programmed to show information such as trans temps, oil temps, etc?

The NEX models can be I have seen some of the bottom levels ( around $500) have that option if it is wired in to the system with the add on kit

I installed a Kenwood DMX7705S awhile back along with a Maestro RR for steering wheel controls. Only issue I have had was the selection of gauges. Some are unavailable and I havent found a fix for this. Other than that, everything has worked great. Planning to install a back up cam soon which is also integrated in the Maestro harness from what I understand. It detects when I am in reverse and switches to the camera input.
