I don't have it, but I've been looking into the Alpine Halo 9 for a possible upgrade.

I installed the Pioneer DMH-2660NEX I used the iDatalink Maestro so I could have the TPMS display on my radio as well as utilize the factory JBL amp.
Anyway, it has been a good radio, carplay has been awesome.

JVC KW-V840BT
I got a kit allowing me to use my steering wheel audio controls in addition to Apple Carplay, and I still have the bluetooth option if my phone isn't plugged in for whatever reason as well as a hands-free microphone. It has A/V capabilities so I got a backup camera installed as well.
I used the aux input jack location in the center console to route my Lightning cable so when my phone is plugged in, it just stays in the center console.
All in all I've been pretty happy with the unit. It's fairly intuitive and looks almost like it would've come with the vehicle from the factory in that it doesn't look overly out of place.
I'm sure whatever you decide to get you will enjoy, and it will make driving the vehicle a much more enjoyable experience. I've gotten a ton of use out of mine, and it was well worth the money spent.

In addition to the forum, I also recommend using Crutchfield to help research the various options.
There are a ton of options available for carplay and android auto depending on your budget. There are also some stereo options available for wireless carplay as well.

I like the double din Pioneer models that have that capability, plenty of options in different price ranges.

I installed the Kenwood Excelon DMX706S, I have had the unit for several months now and I love it. I also used the iDatalink Maestro, the TPMS feedback and link to real time data like intake temp, air flow, load, etc. are interesting to see as well. Simple to operate and the Apple CarPlay makes it perfect for daily use!
