Shift knob, which one did you buy for your T4r?
The one thing I dislike most about my truck is the shift knob. Looks dated and plasticy to me. Im leaning towards either a black or gray leather lexus or Toyota OEM shifter
Lets see what you went with, and if you don’t mind adding where you bought it. Thanks

Agree - I think a new steering wheel, shift knob and head unit would go a long way towards refreshing the truck, I havent gone to the steering wheel and shift knob yet, but thinking about it
I like the TRD ones, but they dont fit. Thinking that the one in my wifes highlander may fit and it looks nice and simple

My Limited has the same shifter knob, but mine is dried out and cracking, can you post a link to the eBay auction you bought your's from?

This thread got me to look on Amazon for a new shifter knob. The “knob” I found is just a thick black metal cylinder, but it was marked down from ~$26 to $8, so I ordered it. It arrives tomorrow. If I hate it, it was only $8. I also ordered a few LEDs for my shifter light and the cupholders. I don’t remember my cupholders ever having a working light.

I’m not a big fan of the metal shift knob. It’s not ergonomic at all, and it was cold to the touch today (It was around 32° outside).

Is there a trick to taking off the OEM knob? Mine won’t budge.

The new knob came in today. Very dark gray, almost black. Just what I was looking for.

So it's essentially like the stock one, just a slightly different color? Same height and all?

Awesome, thanks. I've been looking for a replacement for mine. That and the carpet and the last grungy things left from the PO.
