Opinions on suspension for adding a plate bumper.

Hello forum!

My wife just have to go ahead to get a new bumper for the T4R. We have property about 300 miles away from home with lots of deer between those miles. We decided to get the Coastal Off-road bumper due to it being a plate bumper with full tube option. Looking for opinions on what options I have for the suspension to handle the extra 160lbs.

I have read all the suspension stickies and I know for sure the we are going to put Bilstein 5100 front and back on it. While I am replacing those it would be nice to change the coils too. I wouldn’t mind a little bit of a lift/level but I’m not looking to jack it up 3” or more. Looks like OME might be best option. Looks like there are several options. From the forums experience, which coils would go well for a very mild level/lift with a V6 4wd 4Runner? Thanks in advance!

Hey bud. I offer coils in all sorts of lift heights. Could probably do 1" front and rear, or 1.5", 2", whatever you like. If you have a preference of lift height front and rear, let me know and I can recommend some Dobinsons coils to get the job done.

We agree with @Crikeymike ...

Dobinsons Front and Rear coils will be a better match for your Bilstein 5100's.
