Rear window barrier options?

Yes, please give me any reason to get out my riv-nuts and riv-nut tools as well as my sewing machine, but: Are there any options for barriers for the rear window?

I'd like to install a barrier (Similar to what Raingler does) IN the rear window: this way I can have the window open when we have our 4 dogs in the back and not worry about them bolting on us. Sure I could ask the dogs to not bolt, but they are huskies. Fellow husky owners will know what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

Maybe sew a 6-8" grid pattern from 1" tie downs that you can velcro around the sides and top of the open window. Should pull tight enough to prevent dogs pushing through.

Pricey but looks awesome and the dogs MAYBE can't tear it up.

As a first responder, careful barricading windows. They allow for you to exit the vehicle if you find yourself in a collision, vehicle fire, or in the water.

This is an incredibly important note you make! Back to the drawing board/more research.

I've been thinking this as well. The question becomes, "how does it attach?". But I like where you're going. I'm comfortable with rivnuts but I'm not sure where they'd go. And I don't want to drill holes in the ABS until I know it works. Maybe find some free or really cheap plastics to practice on
