Doug Thorley Headers for 4th gen V8, ** 1 day sale.
Ends Aug 4th! V8 4th gens are known to get a leaky cracked header and start making a ticking sound. These new headers fix that problem, add abotu 2-3 more MPG and aprox 35 HP gain. New Toyota headers are DOUBLE the price. Get in while you can.
Doug Thorley 03-04 headers
Doug Thorley 05-09 headers
Also, the Gibson catback, which pairs great with these headers.
Gibson 4th Gen exhaust
I can do any and all DT headers at a deal, not just these, just call or text 717-319-2100 for anymore questions.

Yeaaahhhhh you're gonna have to backup those MPG and HP numbers with legit dyno graphs. I have the headers for my 4th gen but there is definitely *not* a 35HP gain or MPG gain.

There is a dyno on here somewhere but I'm not going through 59 pages… lol. But I have had many people report back to me 2 to 3 more miles per gallon on the highway these are real world results. I can't remember if they had an intake and exhaust but I'm sure someone will chime in. It's is a huge difference and that is not a joke. The price these are at isn't that much over cost so for those wanting to do this upgrade now might be a good time .

Did you install the DT sticker on the rear window? This will help considerably with HP and MPG.

I would also be a lot more interested in this setup if there were some dyno numbers, might be worth the money in the end to get this done Jason B?

Photobucket killed all the copies of the dyno image I've seen with the headers.
My post on this page summarized it though. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-ge...-5-%2A%2A.html

I've sold about 30+ pair of these since they came out. The main reason people are doing this is due to the ticking after the factory headers crack which is usually around 100k miles. The Toyota headers run double the cost of these, around $1,500 and the same thing will happen to those again down the road. There's a 59 page post with much more feedback and quite a few build threads with feedback on the mileage gain etc.

Yea they did! I'll send a few emails. PhotoBucket unlinked all pics posted on forums. It's causing a major headache and it ridiculous and is effecting millions of pictures all over. Hopefully they come to their senses soon and turn it back ON! They want $399 a year to link their pics on 3rd party sites. Insane!
Photobucket just broke billions of photos!

Jason,
Are you also selling the proper cats to go after the headers as well? On a similar note, are your customers opting to go with an aftermarket 2 into 1 deal and connect to the Gibson SS cat back system as well?
I wouldn't mind doing everything at once that goes to the Gibson SS exhaust that I bought from you is where I'm coming from!

Dyno Results
For those of you guys that are hung up on dyno numbers you have to consider that the results are on a stock vehicle with no other modifications unless stated, this is also at sea level. I have a GX470 with Thorley Headers, Flowmaster High Flow Cats, aFE cat back exhaust and a Volant intake. According to the manufacturers I should be getting over 75- 80 HP, get real I'm in Colorado above 5000 feet it is no where near that but it runs a hell of alot better pulls harder and sounds mean as shit, but mellow when cruising the free way my MPG has increased slightly the power is much more and I'm happy with it. I also have 35 inch tires on it which definitely soaks up the increase. If all your worried about is the Dyno numbers to tell your friends, save your money but the results are real and will vary from vehicle to vehicle. They are also less expensive the OE manifolds if yours are cracked as many do.

Did you have to use any 02 simulators or have any issues with check engine lights after install? I think that the only thing im worried about when I eventually go this route. Although it probably does little justice, could you post some pics of your engine bay where the headers are and how you routed the exhaust. Maybe even a video just for an idea.
I appreciate it

Is anyone from CO running this? If so, have you had any issues passing emissions?

I used no simulators. I even ditched the last two cats. So, headers directly to two factory cats, then custom y pipe with o2 bung. No Sims.
