ISSUES WITH DRL's when locking/unlocking??

Hey there! Recently my parking lights have stopped flashing when I lock and unlock my truck. This started right after I installed LED license plate lights, but the parking lights were working for a bit afterwards. I checked all the fuses that are for the parking lights and they all seemed to be intact. However the parking lights are also hooked up to an aftermarket alarm system that was installed by the dealership right after it arrived on the lot prior to me purchasing the vehicle.

I am about 1 hour away from the dealership and tried to contact them via phone but they were not too helpful over the phone probably because they don't pay their techs to talk to customers over the phone, only service advisers is tasked with phone calls.

Could something have gone wrong within the aftermarket alarm system or am I missing something here? Open to all kinds of suggestions in regard to troubleshooting! I would be able to go back to the dealership but would like to avoid making a trip if this issue is something that is fixable.

Thank you!

So the lights worked prior to the license plate LEDs being installed? If they worked after the initial purchase with the aftermarket alarm installed then it is likely not related. If not, they might have had to change an ECU setting to interface with the new alarm. Do they come on when the alarm is tripped?
I have a hard time seeing how the vanity lights would affect the circuit if they worked prior

They don't come on when the alarm is triggered. Im close by to the dealership and im gonna see if they're willing to take a look to see what's going on. I'll see if the dealership knows anything about changing settings as well

Thanks for chiming in with your post! After having the vehicle looked at, turns out, a wire shredded itself inside the dashboard at one point. Never would have figured that out myself. Ended up paying $126 in total which wasn't bad at all.
