Electronic Throttle/Pedal Boosters
It seems like people who have one would recommend it, I've looked into the Pedal Commander and Sprint Booster, but they're pretty pricey. I ended up searching a bit more and found out there are several Chinese manufacturers making them for relatively cheap. There are also several reviews on them on YouTube and they all seem to be positive. I just purchased this one and will leave feedback on here when it comes.

Interested in your feedback once you get it! I've been considering one, but the price tag is steep without being able to experience the difference and having just to take peoples word for it.

Will do. At this price, it's worth trying out.

I'll be watching for your feedback as well. I'd like to have one if it does what they say they will do. Glad you chose to be the guinea pig, lol.

I installed the Pedal Commander on my 2021 TRD Pro 4Runner this weekend. Worth EVERY PENNY. Installed in minutes and I could not believe how dramatic the performance is. Proven product with many great reviews.

I also bought a pedal commander for my 2021 nightshade on Oct 8th and I have until Nov 7th to return it if I'm not satisfied. I poured over the reviews on the web and there is a small sample size that report negatives (vehicle throws codes). I am watching for that on my vehicle.
I will say it is like a night and day difference since I installed it. $300 is a lot of money but the throttle lag is gone and it is as it should have been from the factory.

I can say that the known brands like Pedal Commander and Sprint Booster do what is stated, it's just increasing the pedal sensitivity, so better throttle response, nothing complex going on. I haven't seen a review on a Chinese aftermarket one yet though for the 4Runner, but I'm betting it's going to offer the same performance as the pricier ones.

Yeah, I know the known brands have great feedback, but didn't want to spend that much if there was a cheaper alternative that works just as well. FYI, this is the 4th gen sub, not sure if you guys are bots or what.

Better money spent than spending it on a cold air intake. IMO

I have the Sprint booster. All it does is make the throttle more sensitive. I have the 4speed and I feel like it downshifts a lot more now. Not sure if I like the extra wear on the transmission. I just leave it on the "Green 1" setting which is the lowest and I like it like that.

Don't they all look the same besides the plug? I know they aren't using the same plug. I already know that the known brands like Pedal and Sprint have good reviews and do what is stated and that's simply increasing pedal sensitivity/throttle response. I was searching more for reviews on the knockoffs.

It was fun at the beginning, later i felt that performance mode is too aggressive even at it's lowest power setting.
