Level 8 MK6/Motegi Trailite wheel owners

Hey guys I had a quick question. I am looking at these two wheels. I have a 3" lift with 285/70/17 KO2's and currently have 1.25" wheel spacers. I am trying to decide between the 0 and -10 offset. Does anyone run this same setup? I have seen the 0 offset is about flush and the -10 sticks out some. I like the look with the stock wheels and the 1.25" spacers. Also with the 0 or -10 offset is there any rubbing and would I have to get a BMC??

I can't comment on these exact wheels, if you like the stock wheel with spacer offset, then something with 0 offset is going to be close to that. The stock 4th gen wheels are all all +30 (except for maybe 06-09 limited might be +25) and a 1.25" spacer will subtract about 31.75mm offset from whatever wheel its on. So for example the stock 4th gen +30 wheels become +30-31.75= -1.75mm offset. 5th gen wheels are +15 so they become +15-31.75= -16.75mm offset.

As far as rubbing the body mount, If you'd be sticking with the same size tire, you can turn your wheel to an angle where the tire is closest to the body mount, and measure/kinda eyeball how much pushing the tire out 10mm ish is going to affect fitment. This is obviously a really crude measurement, but if theres minimal clearance already, you'll know to expect some rubbing with more offset wheels. If theres a mile and a half of clearancce, then you can step it up without issue. People also get tricky with SPC UCAs to manipulate where the wheel sits in the wheel well.

I've got Level 8 Mk 6 on mine. -10 offset. However, I don't know that I'm gonna give you a satisfactory answer regarding your question. Here's what I mean; I'm running that wheel, with 35's, 1" body lift, aftermarket UCA's, fiberglass fenders, no sway bar, pinch welds hammered and body mounts chopped WAY back. Also, have a 1.25" Wheel spacers.

So many factors to consider in the equation, especially when you consider things vary from truck to truck even, so when people asks these generic questions, I always sort of encourage folks to put what you want on there. Then do what you need to do to make if fit. You won't truly know where you rub until you do it. And then you'll still find additional interference at certain unique situations. Just gotta go in with the mindset of willing to do what you need to to make it work. Sorry if that is too broad of an answer, but honestly, nobody can give you a 'yes' or 'no' for your specific truck and set-up. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the insight. I think I am just going to go with the 17x8 0mm offset.

Thanks so much for the info. I have decided on the 17x8 0 offset. I found another post with the Level 8 wheels and the 0 offset is the best looking.

I'm running 0 offset on mine which I like. -10 will be a little aggressive but necessary if you plan on running bigger than 285.

Thank you! Those look great on your 4runner. I plan to just stay with 285's.
