33’s rubbing on UCA

I have SCS SR8 with 285/70/17 falken wildpeak on with 3 inch icon lift with JBA UCA. Tires are rubbing on control arm when making u-turn and i already have BMC. My question is....can i use Spider Traxx wheel spacers to correct the rubbing issue on the control arm?

JBA are notorious for this issue. You can grind them or yes install spacers. Keep in mind spacers will likely cause you to rub more on fender liners and bumper.

I needed to use wheel spacers to avoid rubbing on my jba UCA as well. If you already have the bmc you should be alright. Might have to trim some plastic, but nothing crazy.

What's the wheel width and back spacing on your SCS wheels? Not real sure why your SCS wheels would have you rubbing your control arms even with JBA UCA's. If they are rubbing the UCA's for sure, then some spacers will definitely stop that, but you may have to trim a little plastic as mentioned above.

Get some bora spacers, the spidertraxx are too wide with that offset wheel. Maybe a 1/2 inch spacer at most.

I dont see a 0.50 spacers but i see a 0.75. So a 1.25 will be too much for the SCS wheels..?

The .75 is less likely but still possible. Post results of what you figure out.

Hmmm...maybe i’ll just go with SPC control arm. Kinda dont like the spacers idea but thats more money to spend over spacers. 🤔🤔

I ran a similar wheel with 33's and SPC and no issues.
