3rd Gen Tacoma (2016-up) UCAs on 4th Gen 4Runner?

Trying to find a definitive answer on something, with apologies if I've missed the answer somewhere: are 3rd Gen (2016-up) Tacoma UCAs plug-n-play on 4th Gen 4Runners? Has anyone here installed them, and if so, any issues with fitment or performance? (I've seen the Tacoma swap threads but few are for 3rd Gen Tacos, fewer still mention installing UCAs, and none that I've found nail down whether it's definitely a direct swap to the 4R.)

@shan1841 said his research seems to support that they will fit based on stringing together observations from different places saying that 3rd gen Taco UCAs fit 2nd gen Tacos, and 2nd gen Taco UCAs fit 4th gen 4runners, so it seems 3rd gen Taco UCAs should fit 4th Gen 4runners.

Makes sense but I'm hoping to get a solid answer from someone who has actually bolted up a 3rd Gen Tacoma UCA to their 4th Gen before spending money on a set I'm looking at. Thanks for any help.

I did a search on Tacomaworld.com and the answer was yes, they are the same. Toyota hasn't changed the front suspension for a while. It's a good design and works well.

Looks like the only difference on the 3rd gen Tacoma is the LCA which has a large rear cam bolt. Not sure if our 4th gens have that as well or if that is a 5th gen difference.

only suspension component that cant be swapped between 2nd gen and 3rd gen is the LCA due to the larger (dual vvti 4.0L FJ/4runner style) rear cam bolt. Everything else can be swapped.

Lol, I just noticed I called our 4th gen 4Runners, 3rd gens. D'oh!

Corrected.

3rd Gen Tacoma (2016-up) UCAs on 4th Gen 4Runner?

Found a set of Total Chaos UCAs from a 3rd Gen Taco. Will these fit my 4th gen 4Runner? TCS 96504.
