Post Slider Install - Rougher Ride...?
Just installed White Knuckle Sliders yesterday. They look great and can't wait go get some use out of them.
Has anyone noticed that post slider install (weld or bolt) that their ride is rougher? Could it be that the frame is stiffer now? I seem to notice that when I am moving and turning, even SLIGHT turns/curves, I can feel the tire tread. My tires are old and wearing unevenly, but prior to the sliders, I never noticed any tire tread noise/bump. I can hear it and I can feel it in the floor boards. I can only tell when im turning/curve left. Turning right, maybe the passenger can feel it. Haven't tried that yet.
Time for some new tires!?!?!?!
Any thoughts?

Probably the slider passing on the vibes, since they span a large portion of the frame. I didn't notice anything with my sliders (same brand) but I had new tires when I installed them.

I think I found some info.
Noise/vibration when turning left?
This is the EXACT Issue I'm having. It sounds like when ur tire rubs on the inner fender or mud flaps but I know it's not rubbing anywhere as it didn't rub before and I just got a BMC and mud flap delete.
The above thread the person had bolt on sliders like me (diff brand) . I'm guessing they have the same clearance issues as the white knuckles. That top front bolt is so tight up against the body that it is touching the body and any vibrations get transfered straight thru that bolt and into the body down by my feet.
I'm going to back out that bolt and nut and see if that changes anything!

Think your on to it.
Kinda seems like the front mount, the part the U-bolt bolts to, rubbed.
Mine was hiting the bottom of the passenger side floor.
Little body lift helped mine. 1/2"
Seems like someone bent the floor up for clearance.

I think you hit the nail on the head. If a bolt is touching the body it will transmit vibration from the frame to the body. Kind of like why the exhaust is mounted on rubber hangers. (Sorta)

I also had a body lift already installed so maybe why I didn't have the issue.

Yeh I'm pretty certain now too. I talked with white knuckle and they said that is an issue when you have worn body Mounts. I guess they think it's compressed and now lower than factory......
I checked and the front mount and its is definitely close and prob touches when flexing from turns and what nots. I loosened the Mounts and tried to force it down and give some space but couldn't get to really drop much. I put some wood shims between the body and the mount and it help dampen the rumbles but it is still present.
I don't want a body lift so I may look at pounding the body a little and/or grind off a little from the top of the mounting tab.
