After doing 2 vehicles personally, don’t bother with hog rings. Get zip ties. Your driver’s seat foam can swap sides to the passenger’s side. I opted for brand new foam, which was like $300 from Conicelli Toyota online. I’d also personally opt for full leather for the front seats (or full vinyl if you want a budget option). Every bit of noticeable wear that occurred in the 7000 miles I had them was on the vinyl side section. It wasn’t bad at all, but I could tell it would age differently than the leather facings.
The rear center console thing is a pain to put back together, but it’s mesmerizing to watch the mechanism work. If it doesn’t go back together right, it’ll also have trouble staying closed.

Hmm, not sure what hog rings are, but I'm sure I'd be able to figure it out and just take your advice.
I was thinking of full leather for sure. My driver's seat wear is only to the cloth. The foam is still fine for now. I'll be seriously considering this for my truck... My youngest still has a tendency to spill things so... at any rate, I appreciate your feedback.
