Rigid D-Series Light Pods/Bumper Install

Hey Inmates, I'm doing some planning and would appreciate some advice.

In the near future, a local shop will install a front bumper with 4 cutouts for the Rigid light pods I purchased. Each light pod draws ~3.1 amps. Ideally, I'd like all 4 lights connected to 1 push-button in my cab. I'm looking to get these installed cleanly and properly. I'm a little Type-A.

Question 1: Is it kosher to have all 4 lights (i.e. 12.4 amps) on one switch? Any concerns with this?

Question 2: is there a best practice for splicing/running these lights into one switch? If there's an aftermarket harness that is designed for this application, what did you use and/or can you recommend how to go about this?

Question 3: do you recommend I run a fuse between the lights and battery?

Thanks for your help, lads.

Get a wiring harness with a fuse and a relay and you will be fine. Relays can handle 40 amps. I would not wire them directly into a switch.
