Rear Shock and Sway Bar Link Removal, Help Needed

Trying to install some new shocks and put new springs in the back as well. Trying to get these old shocks out and drop the links to be able to easily fit the new springs in. One sway bar link nut is rounded off at the top making this very difficult. The shocks on each side are rusted to shit and i grabbed it and the metal just crumbled from the pressure attempting to stop the turning. Contemplating cutting everything at the point where the thread starts? Any ideas or concerns would be helpful thanks.

I just used a 6" metal cutting blade on a reciprocating saw to get those top shock mount nuts off - cut right across the top washer, no issues whatsoever. Just be careful, obviously! (I started with my 4.5" grinder and cutoff wheel, but due to the tight space I couldn't get completely across the stud; saw was actually easier/faster.)

On the swaybar endlink, did you use any penetrant? I had to; and maybe use some vice grips on the nut? I didn't want to buy new ones and managed to get mine off after a few minutes.
