I should have bought these before I attempted to get the axles out. The pry bars just didn’t work.

It’s a pretty tight spot. I might have to take off a bunch to get to the actuator. What a pain. Was hoping someone has removed/replaced it.

Does anyone know what position the actuator on the front differential should be in when in 2wd?

So I did some research about the front differential and the ADD actuator. I figured that it’s possible that it could be stuck in between locking the front axles and letting them spin freely so I pulled the ADD actuator out of the front differential and checked that. The ADD actuator was all the way to the right which from my research means that it was fully disengaged. The lights on my dash are still flashing and I’m at a loss as to what to do now. The CV axles are doing well in there. I do remember though that when I took the driver side off, put the new axle in and then took the passenger side off and put the new one in. Then when I went to add differential fluid I pulled the driver side wheel off and found the axle driver side axle not all of the way in so I pushed it back in. Could that have done something? I’m at a loss of what to do now.

Btw, I’ve never touched anything on the transfer case and according to my cheapo code reader my car is not throwing a code
