5th gen style lights for 4th gen

Are there any aftermarket headlights out there that have the squared off protruding look in the front like the 5th gen have?

If not, why not? Maybe I'll Photoshop some together to answer my question to see if it is a matter of it just looking silly.

Here's the idea.
More aggressive styling that fits the hole perfectly but uses a new plastic piece below the headlight to make it look like the newer ones. dunno.
Just a thought.

IDK. Kinda makes me think about the front of a Subaru forester.

I think it mostly comes down to the 4th gen being released 18 years ago at this point and there just isn't too much upside to a company spending so much on R+D for a vehicle that isn't produced anymore.

I think it's a totally feasible idea but it'd have to be a passion project for someone. I would estimate the cost of custom molded housings, the extra body panel, LED running lights, projector housings, etc to retail for $800-1K easily.

I'm sure it would be not much different than any custom light that's out there now. Same housing really except for bottom shape adjusted. But yea. I don't think it looks terrible, but it's a lot of effort up front with no guarantee of a return for whoever make it. Granted we all buy a lot of shit to fit on our old cars so there's that.

I have an 05 so my front looks like a minivan without my brush guard protruding and covering it all up.
