The idatalink Maestro is the interface I used.

iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module Connect a new stereo and retain the steering wheel audio controls and factory amps in select 2006-up vehicles at Crutchfield

I am installing the "Camera Source" camera for an OEM look. Backup Camera for 03-15 Toyota 4Runner

This was my second install with this type of audio hw, the first being in my Tacoma.

Best buy says that the Pioneer DMH-2660NEX does not fit 4th gen runners. Did you have any installation hassles?

To add to the above post... did you buy a certain tmps sensor or do they all typically work since its a certain frequency. Having the exact pressure is nice too.

On the fence about replacing 2 bad sensors or just deleting the whole system with a simple scotchlock splice as seen on Youtube.

Strange thing is both sensors took a crap on a trip up the local mountain to around 8000' elevation. Not sure what the correlation would be between driving into a colder environment at a higher altitude and then the sensors going?

The psi/temp info comes from the OBD2 port (from the sensor).
The idatalink Maestro has a cable to the OBD2 port (and to the head unit).
I use Toyota /Denso sensors. Other manufacturer sensors that function with the OEM system would work.

When I initiated my research, Crutchfield listed the 2660NEX as "Not fitting" the 2007 T4R. I did more digging and found out it does fit, and with no issues.

The Metra 95-8202 Dash Kit Item #120958202 is what is depicted in the pic.
