4th gen donuts, how?

How do you guys manage to do donuts in the snow or gravel? Seems like my traction control is preventing me from spinning around.

I heard of a hack where you can install a kill switch for it somehow, is that it?

Put vehicle in N while stopped, lock center diff, put in D, spin brodies, try not to break vehicle.

you can lock the center diff but awd donuts are no fun. You can do the traction control mod and do donuts that way in 2wd.

I see, so engaging the center diff lock disables traction control.

I'll try it out first will look into the kill switch if it doesn't satisfy.

You don't have a button to turn it off?

I found out by accident that if you leave the back window cracked, then disconnect the battery, after you reconnect it the computer turns off the traction control as a warning. If I recall correctly, to get it back you have to roll it all the way down and back up. Maybe disconnect the battery again?

Not sure on on that gen 4Runner. On my ISF there is 3 different ways to mess with traction control. Pressing it one time (disengages over 35mph) also holding down for 3 seconds (better), and the last full 100% method is the pedal dance which I can roast tires through 3rd lol. Curious if there is any other methods beyond your button since we see different clever ways in later year Toyota’s (Lexus etc)
