“ What don’t you understand? Do you speak and understand English?
If so I will try explaining it to you, now what don’t you understand in my post?”

The part where you say Toyota scammed you.

Read my original post again and maybe get someone to help you in understanding it.
And as old Bucken Billy Ray always says (be Kind)

Why are you being such a tool? You didn’t actually go to the dealer. You just hypothesized about what might happen. Stop being so lame.

You sound like you’re hurt about a scenario that didn’t even happen. Fragile.

Think. About what old Bucken Billy Ray always tells people. Be Kind.
And take it from R.B.Toyota is trying to use their check engine light with the FLASHING Anti-skid light to SCAM people.
It’s as simple to understand as it could be, if you don’t understand this Toyota scam you deserve to be scammed.

Did you consult a Toyota factory service manual or aftermarket manual for possible causes of, and reasons for, that flashing light?

And everyone needs to be kind to me, for giving this Toyota Scamming imformation.

Who, or what, is a Bucking Billy Ray?

Either way this sounds like a commercial for that code reader and Wally world. Just forgot to mention the SKU code!

As for check engine lights..... I just ignore them. I mean eventually I'll have it checked to see what's up but it's less concerning to me than the low windshield washer fluid light. They almost never mean anything serious. My previous Toyota had the light on from the day I bought it. Drove it from 07 - 2014. Went from 81k miles to just under 300k with the stupid light on.

OP It's not a Toyota scam. Check engine light is usually emissions related. Clean air act from the 70s authorizes EPA regulate vehicle emissions. If it wasn't for these regulations manufactures would not install these additional expensive components to reduce emission. It literally has a warning on the fuel cap that says to tighten properly or could cause check engine light and yes over time the rubber gasket on the fuel cap will harden and require replacement.

It still does not answer the question why Toyota has to try scaring people with a FLASHING Anii-skid light, because of only a non tight gas cap.
What am finding here in the thread I started, is people saying anything Toyota does is correct even it’s really something that is totally wrong and really just a way to push people into their dealers service Dept.

No we’re saying you’re throwing a fit over something minor. Move on.
