Aftermarket OE style replacement control arms. Would you trust these?

Hey all. So i recently picked up another 07 v8 limited that needs some work. The lower control arm bushings are wiped out need replaced. Of course the adjusters are seized too. Not wanting to spend much $$$ on this 4Runner like I did on my other one. Just want to make it a good driver and not planning on using it for offroad. Recently came across this website www.amautoparts.com and found that I can get brand new upper and lower control arms with bushings and ball joints for a whopping $272.99 for the complete set of 4. Backed by a 10year warranty so they claim. Almost seems too good to be true. Feel like pulling the trigger on them for as little as they cost. How good do you think they can be and would you trust them on your vehicle? Thoughts?

Like you say, almost too good to be true. I would trust them on my vehicle I think, but the question is durability, forget the warranty, if they're junk you won't be interested in a replacement anyway.

Don't know about the place you quoted, but if I'm not going OEM on LCA/UCA I'd go with 1A Auto. Their LCA looks very, very similar to OEM... I have a friend that did them and we could not tell the two apart. Could just be a good copier though.

Adjusters, from what I've read you want OEM, SPC, or SuperPro. Anything else is likely to give you a bad time.

I've also heard good things about the 1A auto arms for $180ish. If had to buy ones off the shelf, these are what I would get. A few people have wheeled them pretty hard without issue

Another option would be to rebuild your current arms. Kind of a time investment, but saves some dollars. I rebuild mine for around $250 iirc and made a writeup: Whiteline Lower Control Arm Bushing Tutorial (120+ Pictures). Feel free to reach out with any questions on LCA removal, or the rebuild.

Also diablo carbide blades to cut the cams out. Any non-carbide blade will not make it through.

I've been running a set of 1A auto LCA's on my rig for a few years now and they've held up way better than I expected. I bought them sometime back in 2016, and as long as how they're made hasn't changed, they should still be good to go.

My plan was to run the 1A cheapies and rebuild my OEM's in the meantime. I haven't rebuilt my OEM's yet, and thankfully, haven't had to either. The ball joint boot is just starting to get a bit crusty on them, but I'd expect that out here in the desert after almost 4 years and 30K+ miles.

I'll likely rebuild my OEMS sometime in the next year just to have them on standby but I don't expect the 1A's to fail anytime soon.
