Wet passenger floor? AC drain line?

Does anyone have a good picture or diagram of where the AC drain line runs through the firewall from the inside for an 04 v8? Took a long road trip this past week, and ended up with a soaking wet passenger floor. Car ran great, it's not coolant - no color, no odor, coolant level is fine - no rain or open sunroof, so the only thing I can think is that the AC drain line is clogged or broken somewhere. AC works fine, and I notice a very small puddle of condensate under the car, but not the usual dripping that I would expect.

Has anyone chased this down before or have any suggestions? Is this someting I can get at without taking apart dash or ripping up carpet?

Thanks,

Watching this. I have the same issue. I know it's a clogged A/C drain line, but haven't bothered to try and locate it yet. ;)

Thanks for the reply, I had searched and found the drain line in the engine bay, but didn't know if there was something inside the cab as well that I could access. I ran a coat hanger up the tube in the bay, but I don't think it helped. Its only the very bottom of the floor that is wet (under floor mat). But there doesn't appear to be any dripping from under the glove or closer to the firewall.

I’ve been going nuts over this same problem with my daughter’s ‘03 Camry! I pulled the carpet and surrounding panels and found the rubber drain hose for the a/c and there was space around the grommet where it goes through the floor to drain (I could see the ground), so I used some clear silicone to seal that in hopes it was water splashing up from driving in the rain. No such luck! I’m going to have to tear it back apart again because the carpet is soaked again! She doesn’t even have a sunroof, so it must be related to the a/c.

Were you ever able to track this down? Having the same issue and running some string trimmer line up the drain tube didn't encounter anything. Hoping it's something I can get to through the glove box or without removing the dash!
