If you do have the chop, and aren't rubbing that, you should be able to see what you're rubbing. A wheel spacer would be the cheap easy solution to space the wheels out.
A lift won't solve any rubbing issues on the frame. Only a properly offset wheel will.
I'm on 315 70 17 tires with 17x9 -12et wheels and rub thr frame at full lock. In my case it's not too bad and I live with it. I'm on a 3in suspension lift with a 1 in body lift . I should mention also that I have JBA uca and they rub near full lock vs my stock uca that did not.

This. Definitely recommend a body mount chop if you haven't done it already. If you get spacers, it's just gonna rub even more in another spot.
