Are bils 5100 my best option for cheapish 2/1 lift?

I have a spacer leveler right now but I think I want another inch, which requires the rear. I’m in Denver and live in an apartment now so doing this myself isn’t really an option. What setup would you recommend?
Thanks!

I believe the Eibach Pro truck kit is also 2/1. The full kit with shocks and springs is less than $700

Generally - yes, tried and true for lift and general use. If you do more off roading or no offroading you can get a more specific lift for your purposes.

I do light off roading but no crawling/wheeling. Just whatever the mtn pass roads have.

Bilstein 5100s are a good choice. I'm happy with the ride on mine and do mild offroading now and then. I would caution you however to research the rears before you buy. My rear bilstein 5100 was part# 33-187174 and had a minor problem with fitment. Stock the mounting post goes through a bushing, tac welded washer, welded frame bracket, bushing, washer, and nut. When using the bushings provided I found out that if the washer on the underside stays on you will not have enough room to get the nut threaded. One side the washer came off and after much aggravation and effort I managed to compress the washer/bushing just enough to get the nut started and secured. On the other side the washer stayed on and I had to swap out one new bushing for an old one just so I could get the thing to fit.

Long story short look for a different part number that fits but is longer or try to find overall length specs and compare so you have plenty of room to mount everything.

The Daystar spacer lift kit (2.5”/1.5”) is cheap.

5100 are a good low budget option but those 6112 with the larger bore... those are super nice! Incredible difference in handling on road and off.
Best bet would be to find somebody that is selling their used set of Bilstein 6112 !!!!

*Shameless plug*

I have a set that i'm not using anymore. PM me if you want a good deal.

The 5100 are a good option for a relatively easy straight swap with the OEM components. They significantly improved the road manner of my 03. When I looked there was not a ton of options that offered more bang for your buck. You could potentially go with a spacer lift if you really want to save a few $$$.

I have the eibach pro lift kit on mine now and am happy with it. If you want to wait a few months, may/June I'll be upgrading and putting my eibachs up for sale.

I've got the same lift. What are you upgrading to and why? I've really liked my Eibachs, just curious what your next step is.
