Ahhh yes, the lovely TPMS system that (like the education system in America) is tailored to the least common denominator in society. I dunno, I think if I was piloting a 2 ton death machine around the habitat of other sapient human beans I would attempt to make myself aware of some of the more important systems and learn how to maintain them as to not be a danger to others... But, alas too many of us in the past apparently didn't realize that if the 2 foot square patch that connects one to the road is not in optimal condition one is at risk of harm or more importantly harming others. Thus we end up with this wonderful piece of technology. I simply leave this statement here to remind those of us who might not be as attentive to the maintaining of our vehicles that fixing the TPMS system MIGHT be YOUR best bet. If you have a tire pressure gauge and a means to keep your tires in their best condition however, the following is for you.
Yea, I disconnected that crap! There is even a thread on this site that goes thru the how-to of it all. I figure if I ever sell it I can just undo what I did. Ez peazy
