Correct license plate screw/bolts?

Just bought an 2007 4th gen and the screws it came with look like this. They don’t seem to fit correctly. Does anyone know the correct size/type? Thanks

Mine are threaded M6x1.0mm bolts. ~12mm long?

Thank you sir! I’ll go pick some up. Hopefully the hole threads are still ok.

could always use nylon lock nuts on the other end too. here in NYC i've had 2 license plates stolen off my last car (separate incidents) so I used the nuts to hold them in place a little more permanently. For the trunk you'll have to take off the tailgate cover.

McMaster Carr sells all types of security nuts in metric sizes and the bits are around ~$2 so you can protect your plates relatively cheap.
