Alignment after adding bumper and winch?

Do I need to get an alignment after adding a bumper and winch?

I did a bunch of suspension work today (and broke an ABS wire) , and need to get an alignment done (did a diy one to get it in the ballpark because of SPC UCA's, but toe is definitely wrong). I'd like to get the 4runner back on the road, but my new bumper ships next week, and so if I need to do an alignment after attaching it I'd like to wait.

Thanks guys!

I'll probably wait until my ABS wire gets here and I get it replaced, just in case the lights are still on and I need them to look with a techstream, but as soon as that is done I will get it aligned.

I had to. Depends on the weight of your setup I guess. But I noticed a difference in my alignment. I'm guessing its because my OME885 springs are too soft and my front end did drop a little.

See if you can find a shop that offers "lifetime alignment", where you pay a premium up front, but can bring it back to get it re-aligned multiple times in a certain time frame (usually at least a year or two).

Might be more common at tire shops, since that creates a reason for people to become repeat customers for tire replacements.

Finding one of those that will work on lifted vehicles is hard to do. Officially, all the chains will no longer do lifetime alignments on lifted vehicles. And I can't find a local shop to do ONE alignment competently. The last one I went to was a dedicated alignment shop and they sent me home with my steering at a 10 degree angle when driving straight, and tried to argue that was normal...

Yea it doesn’t seem like Firestone would be able to do the lifetime alignment in non-factory vehicles. Better off finding a 4WD shop.
