My 4Runner came with Firestone LE2s when I bought it. I don't know how many miles they had on them when I bought the 4Runner, but I've put about 62,000 miles on them since then. They are down to about 5/32nds of tread and starting to get cracks in the sidewall so I'll be replacing them soon.
They are good tires in pretty much all conditions. Even with the small amount of tread left I don't have any problems driving in snow (especially with 4WD on). I've been driving up into the mountains every weekend this winter and haven't had any issues with traction going up or down unplowed roads. I don't do any heavy off-roading though, just some dirt/gravel/forest roads.
I considered replacing them with the same tire, but now I don't see them available at the tire shops in my area. They are way cheaper than the Bridgestone Dueler LTH and Michelin Defender LTX that I'm also looking at. You would get a better tire, more miles, and maybe better mpgs with those two, but the LE2s are a good option if you want to go the cheaper route.
