Aw, c'mon now, fellas...
It's mighty useful for wildlife.

The deer here roll in it to get rid of ticks.
Where do you think the name "blacktail deer" came from?
By dumpin' it in my yard, I'm keepin' Lyme Disease down.

And the fish in the river, well they never had it so good...
Helps 'em just sliiiiiide right upstream to spawn.
Bears, otters and eagles can't get a grip on 'em.

Y'know, I heard the Exxon Valdez also recycled its oil into its fuel system...

In my opinion, he added too much oil.

I did that too by filling up my tank until it's full and added 3/4 quart of used oil. I had to filter it first using a paper towel because my container is full of crud. I'll be posting a video of it soon in this channel for proof. 4Runner4ever - YouTube

I've driven it for a few days now and it works fine so far. Rightnow, my 2005 4runner is the guinea pig here. So far it's working good. I guess if you are changing your oil and don't have a place to dispose it, this is the way. Cheers!
aside from all the comments above, which i agree with them 100%...

WHY? why would you want to do this? oil is not intended to be burnt via the fuel system, it will leave all kinds of bad deposits in the cylinders & combustion chambers & the valves... especially USED oil!

please enlighten us with your "logic" to do this.

if you want to get upper cylinder lubrication buy a product designed for that purpose like marvel mystery oil.. not used motor oil!

I think this is the video the OP is talking about. What I find funny, is the youtube dude says putting it back in the tank "is the perfect cycle of life". What he probably doesn't know, is when you recycle oil at a legitimate recycler, it can be refined back into a base oil. An even perfecter cycle of life.

Another interesting quote is "if you have a catalytic converter, you better put it to work"

Donít take his advice OP. Keep on doing what your doing. I want to see how long it takes until catastrophic failure.

I think the OP is just confused. He thought he had the rare and highly sought after, 2 stroke 4runner we've all heard about. Or maybe he's got a serious mosquito problem he's working on. Gonna smoke em out!

OP is just "stirring the pot" here. Some people are really bored right now.

There are people around here paint their fences with their used oil from their farm equipment and other vehicles. They've been doing it for over 100+ years.

OP, don't overlook this method as a convenient and elegant way to dispose of old paint, brake fluid, and out of date milk in your fridge.

I had an aunt/uncle who used it on their shingle siding (cedar, I think). It does the trick.

I'd go a step further to recommend installing a catch can and just never empty it. Burning oil adds at least 10HP, 5MPG, & acts as a backup fuel source!

yes, that's the guy i watched. i knew it was stupid but for the sake of science, maybe it's something that is doable. thank you for the concern everyone and for the hurtful comments but it's okay.

i did this because my frame might soon fail on me and maybe 2-3 years down the line, i might not pass the annual inspection. selling it is not an option since i dont' want to pass on something that could cause their life, if you know what i mean.

i just posted the proof i added a used oil to it. here you go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fbIydIXo_A

i'm just curious what will happen in the next few years.
