Are downstream O2 sensors interchageable?

What I mean is I was looking at new O2 sensors listed online at Autozone, Orielly's etc and noticed that the downstream O2 senors are listed as either "left side" or "right side".

Anyone know what's the difference? I thought they'd be the same? The upstream sensors are not listed as left or right, just the downstream sensors.

RockAuto shows that the harness lengths are different. 7.87 inches vs 13.39 inches.

I asked the same question at the dealership, since I had two bank 2 sensors accidentally, and it just came down to the length of the harness. Unfortunately for me the bank 2 harness is the shorter one so I couldn't throw the extra over to the bank 1 side. Oh well...
