E-locker 8.2 Install Looking for EWD

Howdy do, new to this forum with a 2008 Sport V8. I have been a member of the FJ forum since 08 (2007 FJ). Anyhoo, I just put an 8.2 E-locker into the 4R and Ima lookin for an electrical wiring manual for a 2009 V8 4R as I believe the E-locker was a one year option then (with All Wheel Drive). Please feel free to correct the the noob at any time....I searched threads here for activating the e-locker and saw that on a 2006 V6 someone used a stock 4WD computer to add it to there's, so I'm looking to do the same thing, thanks in advance. Can't attach pictures from my tablet for some reason......

My understanding is that due to economic downturn, there were no v8 4runners made in 2009. This was a point of discussion elsewhere on this forum where the 2009 trail edition was talked about, which was the one trim package that came for the 4th gen with an e-locker.
Also, pretty sure our rear differentials are 8", though I may be wrong on that. I thought the 5th gens got the bigger diff

Ok, then I guess I'm looking for a wiring diagram manual for a 2008. So does this mean that my 2008 just got REALLY RARE because it's the last "official" 4gen? Wow, it probably just doubled in value.....

So if you are looking for an e-locker diagram, it's going to be 2009 v6, because that was the only year it was available. Was never available in v8. Not sure that will help, you could always look around the LC forums since those vehicles actually ran v8s with lockers

Not sure if you're really going to be able to do that with a V8 for a couple reasons:

-The wiring for the circuit may not even exist on the V8 4Runner (see the attached parts location, connector F15)

-You may need an entire "4WD Control ECU (Rear Differential) Lock" module (see attached EWD Schematic for Rear Diff Lock Circuit)

-IF you did manage to get all the required parts, switches, and connectors, you'd still probably have to run your own wiring for certain aspects such as the Speed Signal, Communication with the ABS/VSC/TRAC module, Communication with the 4WD ECU, etc. (See attached EWD Schematic) Additionally there's no guarantee that these modules will have the programming (these are modules Toyota doesn't have a process for reprogramming that I am aware of) to properly communicate with the new module you install.

There's really three ways I can see this being done effectively and I'll list them in what I thing is the order of easiest to hardest:

1.) Install the locker and make your own wiring circuit, sans module, for engaging/disengaging the locker by mimicking the factory set-up as best as possible.

2.) Try to install a V6 Rear Diff Lock Module in the factory location and run whatever extra wires and connectors you need to make it function. (assuming the computer programming exists to communicate with it, which I am not sure honestly if it will.)

3.) Install an entire V6 4WD Module, Rear Differential Lock Module, and then wire a dummy plug to trick the system into thinking an ADD exists and is functioning when it doesn't and somehow locking out the 2WD option so as not to damage the actuator (I'm not even going to bother theorizing how how you'd do that because honestly, as OCD as I am about trying to make things look/function like it was factory installed this is a ridiculous amount of work.)
