The rotors are not interchangeable. The 2wd rotors have the front hub bearings built into the rotors, hence the huge price difference. The 4wd f150 uses the CV axle but to set the hub bearing torque.
The 2wds are a normal axle but torqued to set the hub bearing. If you swap the spindles, you wouldn’t have anything to set the front hub bearing torque correctly without the CV axles which a 2wd won’t have.
