150,00 miles on my 15 year old transmission - always serviced by the dealer with T-IV (not WS). You own a dealership? are you a mechanic?

Why waste money on expensive synthetic that is 10%, when convention gets changed every 60,000 miles, has better viscosity, more history?

BTW All my oil leaks are almost entirely stopped by switching back to conventional motor oil on a 15-year old 4 runner. No more synthetic in old cars says Scotty!

Scotty Kilmer says same things about synthetic. You like leaks, use it.

Scotty Kilmer - 53 years a mechanic. Has his own television show. You?
Where do you work. What's your NW?

Scotty Kilmer is a millionaire. You?

I wanted to go with Amsoil all around but the budget for for updating all the deferred maintenance of the PO made me rethink it. I went with ^ Valvoline full syn for diffs and transfer case. Bought it online at advance auto with 20% off coupon and free delivery.

Synthetic is so overrated. Conventional nonsynthetic Valvoline was all the parts store had .

three quarts and you are done in 15 minutes.
if you used 75/90 it was SYNTHETIC captnsolo... valvoline & most other brands dont offer conventional in 75/90, 80/90 is non synthetic. can you post a link to 75/90 non synthetic valvoline please?

synthetic is 10%??? where'd you come up with that?

I just replaced my diffs and transfer case oil. This article was my go to:

Trail Maintenance: Driveline fluids, how and when to change them - Trail4R.com - 5th Gen 4Runner Mods

I decided to go with amsoil SEVERE GEAR 75W-90 for the front and rear diffs due to the bag design that you can just pour in. I went with the OEM Transfer Gear Oil And used one can.
