Integrate Pressure Washer into Car Engine

So here’s my idea. I want to have a pressure washer powered by my engine, so I could plug a garden hose into my ARB bumper, then have a nipple to plug the pressure washer wand into the bumper as well. Why? Because pressure washers are cool. Mobile ones are even cooler.

The concept is easy to accomplish. Add the pressure washer pump into the serpentine belt system, then route the appropriate lines.

HOWEVER…

1.) The pump cannot run when I am driving around. A method of engaging/disengaging from the serpentine belt must be accomplished.

2.) The pump runs at 3400 RPM for 3000PSI of working output. A pulley reduction/increase or a way to increase RPM at idle must be accomplished.

3.) (Obviously) The pump needs to be integrated, or perhaps an independent pulley be added to the belt system. Either a longer serpentine belt or an independent pulley would need to be added. I’m unaware of options in this regard.

So….thoughts? I think this would be a unique project.

I think it's an interesting idea. Putting it into practice will be tricky though, I think. You'll have to find a way to mount it and it must be perfectly aligned or it'll cause belt damage or even cause it to come off. If you do this I'd really like to see pics.

You may also consider running an inverter to an electric pressure washer mounted in the bay. I'm sure they're not that big under all the plastic. I haven't explored electrical systems that much, but it could be an alternative to messing with the serpentine belt, clutching for the pump, etc. Just another idea to consider

Yeah, I’ve considered that as well. My only issue with the electric power washer is their power. They are limited to about 2300 psi, max.
