Typical Bilstein Swap Quesitons

After 18 years of my 2003 sport running the Xreas system, it has gotten mushy and its time to go.

I have looked all over(all the stickies other forums, etc, etc) and in some ways the wealth of information led me to being confused and uncertain, so I just figured I would ask.

I currently have BFG all terrains with a cornfed 2/1 leveling kit on my V8 sport, and I am looking at putting bilstein 5100s with some springs(unsure of which) to go with them.

My question is, will I still need to have the 2/1 cornfed kit after the Bilsteins in order to keep the same stance or will the adjustable front fix that? Same question about the rear?

Also while anyone is answering, can you suggest which springs you have experience with and are good.

I will also say, my wife uses this car as a daily driver(although she only drives like 10 miles a day), and thus 90+% of its driving is on road and we don't do off roading.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!

So youíve got lots of options. Certainly one alternative that works well for many is the Napa quickstruts

With the 5100 you could get a stock level coil from moog or someoneís 5th gen take off springs and keep your cornfed lift

You could take off the cornfed lift and adjust the front suspension up to 1.85 with the springs noted above

Or you could take off the cornfed, bilstein clip not adjusted up and use like old man emu 885 and 895e springs

For the front I would personally avoid 5100's and go straight to 6100's. Its a way better set up, comes with correct springs, and is still 1/3 the cost of the next step up to Fox, King, Icon, etc.
5100's ride like crap, no small bump compliance but will totally blow through the travel over a speed bump.
