Help, transmission
So, I posted a few days ago about my transmission issue after I picked up my car from the dealership. Let me run you through the history.
Bought the car on 4/20/20, I've had ZERO problems with this car, ran like butter, other than the seized calipers which were replaced immediately with a power stop z36 brake kit. Had the usual OBD sensor problem, VSC light traction control Tom's, check engine. Runs smooth and had my mechanic check the chain AND the dealership that it's at right now, no problems.
Took the car in to make sure my AC was going out and didn't need a charge, changed the fuse to check that before I dropped it off, no Bueno. AC is bad. Next day I pick it up because, one, not paying $1200 for AC, two, don't need it right now. They also mention I now have a radiator leak. ZERO fluids have shown up under the car in the year I've had it. Nothing. Fine, I'll buy the parts, replace it and do a flush myself, no problem.
NEXT DAY, after picking it up my transmission is upping from first to second. Gradually gets worse. Now I've got 3 options according to the dealer....
1.) Transmission flush and change
2.) Drop the transmission pan and check for metal shavings with a full flush and change.
3.) New transmission...
My thoughts off the research I've done on here and elsewhere.
Get them to do the flush, AAA it back to my place and do the radiator in hopes it's fine.
I think and have good faith I'll be ok after this.
I need your alls much more educated and experience thoughts on this. I trust you all, more than I trust the dealership.

Maybe I'm just tired but I think this is the only transmission symptom presented in your post.
You're going to have to be more specific and/or post a video of the problem to get useful feedback. The A750F doesn't have many problems... but when it does have a problem it's a real bugger to fix.
EDIT: Slipping? Slipping from first to second?

yes sorry, not upping. It started to slip bad and is at the dealer. They're doing a drain and refill then I'm having it towed back to my place to change the radiator. Hopefully she isn't dead. There is am 06 dbl cab tundra near me with 88k miles on it though....one owner....

Start by doing option 1 and possibly 2 in your driveway. ATF Exchange (using the cooling line)

Sorry to hear about all that. Im trying to tie everything together. Certainly, the AC and radiator can go together if the AC clutch/ compressor grinds and metal gets in the radiator.
Sometimes a bad radiator can affect the transmission cooling process. Im not sure if that happens in the 4r or not, but hot transmission will damage it

My rad was weeping from the seam between the core and the caps. Coolant would seep out while the system is hot and pressurized, but then evaporate on the hot rad without actually leaking onto the ground. And without the heat (expansion of components) and pressure (pushing the water out), it was fine.
Anyway, the red stains on the outside was the giveaway... but I never would have seen it from standing infront of the truck. For me, it was cheap insurance to replace it to make sure it doesn't explode at the worst possible time. Replaced the main hoses too just to be sure.
Overkill? yeah... probably. Anything worth doing is worth overdoing, right?

Did you take off the Transmission oil cooler? If so, you might have introduced dirt or trash into the system. Doesn't take much to stop up a ball in the valve body or a screen somewhere.
Just realized you haven't done the radiator yet....
Put some lubeguard in it. Can't hurt and it just might fix it if something is sticking.

Lubeguard is a friction modifier. Slipping is often associated with binding parts that restrict flow. Lubeguard will definitely help if this is the case. Cheap and can't hurt.

UPDATE: dealer called and said it's shifting very smoothly now with no hiccups. BUT, it was 2 quarts low and said there are some metal shavings in the liquid. Due to the number amount of questions I've had he assumed I would ask and kept a water bottle full of the fluid for me to check out. My question is, if there are shavings and it is a lot is this car worth keeping or do I try and get rid of it now before it happens again and or gets worse?
