I probably could have sourced an O-Ring but just went ahead and did it anyways. With my luck disturbing the High and Low pressure valves to fill the system caused them to fail and leak within 2 months so I got to replace them too. Those are SUPER easy though. I am fortunate in that I have a a nice Robinair R134a machine at my disposal. Keep up the great posts. Cheers
I appreciate it dude! Thanks for the heads-up on the valves, I didn't think about those, but I'll monitor them if it leaks down in the future. Cheers!

Thanks man, I enjoy making them!
Yeah, it was an embarrassing call to my brother and dad to come pick us up. Oh for sure, my condenser would've been toast without without my body lift. It took a small hit on the very bottom, cause it's bent just a little, but I'm grateful the A/C still works

Thanks! I do want to replace the evaporator core eventually, so I'm not having to recharge it every year and some change. If this charge doesn't last through the summer, I'll get on the evaporator then haha. I'm hoping it lasts a decent while based on the past few recharges, but who knows.

As far as the recharge, it was pretty straight forward once I wrapped my head around how the manifold gauges and can tap worked. For some reason I got way too tied up on thinking the knobs on the shrader valve chucks reverse threaded for some reason, but once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing
Random question, but did the Denso replacement condenser have a bow to it?

I just received mine (after the part was on nationwide backorder) and it's definitely bent but I can't tell if the original has the same concave-like structure without pulling my skids.

I'll post a pic if helpful but just wanted to confirm as I amass all the parts for the evap core r/r to avoid any surprises. Thanks in advance!

Dang thats a bummer man. I didn't notice mine being curved at all. It came in a nice box with those expanding foam packs around it to keep it safe. Was the box bent at all?

These are probably the best pictures I have of it to show its flatness

Danggit, that does look bent. Hopefully they're not still backordered and you can get a replacement quickly
