Cheapest Route: Go to a junkyard and look for any Toyota’s in the similar year range, most models are interchangeable from my experience (i.e i got one from a Camry). Depending on what model you pull it from, the trim might not fit but that’s up to your personal preference. I’ve done this twice now, and both times the junkyard didn’t even bother charging me for it, so it’s just time spent hunting.
You could buy a new “OEM” one from RockAuto for about $60 I think.
If you’re still using the aux cord daily, once it’s fixed I’d highly suggest getting a “Bluetooth receiver/transmitter” from Amazon (less than $20). You’ll plug it into the aux port and it’ll Bluetooth connect to your phone, and like magic you have cheap wireless Bluetooth.
If you’re considering any other option that involves removing the current radio/Headunit you have, just go ahead and replace it with a new Headunit that has CarPlay/Android Auto. You’ll thank yourself down the road instead of doing a GTA Bluetooth kit or whatever else places are selling now…
