Front bumper help

Someone backed into my 4runner with a tow hitch. I'm having a hard time finding info on the piece that's damaged. Anyone got any info on the piece (actual part name, cost to replace,etc..)Thanks in advance.

Would a 2013 bumper even fit a 2004 limited?

No a 2013 bumper will not fit a 2004, the only bumper that will work is 2003, 2004 and a 2005, the bumper changed on 4th gens in 2006 to 2009.

I doubt you will find that part of the bumper cover new, I would suggest checking savage yards, also the part of the bumper cover behind that piece is most likely damaged as well and you may need the entire bumper cover and possibly also need the "reinforcement plate", "energy absorber" and the "impact bar" as well, the only way to know for sure what parts you need is too take things apart and inspect all the pieces.

Here's a link to the break down of parts for the bumper, unfortunately the trim piece you're looking for is not shown, and therefore most likely not available.

Any clue what replacing the entire bumper assembly might run?

Unfortunately I do not know, you will have to source a used one from a savage yard first hopefully in the same color since new ones aren't available from Toyota any longer, there are new ones from after market sources, but would need to be painted, and then get a labor quote to install and paint and then you may also need the other 3 parts I mentioned in my last post since they're not included with the bumper cover.

But even if you find all used parts in good condition and the correct color and with labor it not going to be cheap, but if you can find just that bottom front piece and can get it to bolt up to the bumper cover it should look OK even if the other parts are damaged.

Yea that first response may be a phishing scam

Anywho,

I would get something like this from rockauto or carid and just spray paint as you’d like or can take to a body shop to paint 2005 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 4.0L V6 Bumper Cover | RockAuto

The toyota part number for that piece is 53901-35150-B0 and would be about $150
