IronMan 2" Suspension lift kit
Hey guys, first I want to thank you all for helping with my first post ever which was about an oil leak. Now in my second post I want to ask about the IronMan suspension kit.
I dont understand much about this, its a 2" lift, so does it add 2" to the front and back or is it an average? Also does this mean that the rake of the truck of 1" higher in the back as stock is kept?
Im thinking about buying this one since its the one available here in Chile, but i want to have the truck lifted 3" in the front and 2" in the back. So im wondering, can i add a 1" leveling in the front to this IronMan suspension so i can get the 3" front and 2" or does it not work like that?
I would also apprecciate any concerns or reviews regarding the IronMan suspension, since the last post i saw about it was 8 years ago. If not i would have to import a OME kit.
Thank You!!

Hey man,
There's a thread called " The Ironman Suspension Thread" and it has 2 pages of info on the Ironman stuff for 4th gens.
I have the 2.5 in front, 2 in rear suspension lift from them and their UCAs. I'm very pleased with the on and offroad manners. See my post about it here
As far as lift goes, the truck is perfectly level with .5 inch higher in the front. Remember, the front geometry actually doubles the lift (so .5 inch "extra" = 1 inch actual lift up front). I am running 33's with the lift no problems.

Thank You a lot! In my country they say the kit comes with a 2" full lift, but i dont get how they say in the thread that it lifts more than 2". Could you fit the 33's with no trimming? Im trying to get those too but the kit is only the 2" one so i dont know if it will work, or i should get a levelling kit (1/2 ") that goes on top of the front shocks. I atached the picture of what they sell here. (equivalent to $1300 tax included)

I would give it a go. I think that kit might level your truck as it’s sold. If not, adding a spacer later isn’t super difficult.
And yes, i fit the 33s just fine without trimming. I have 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws

I reallyy like your built and it’s what I’m looking to make mine look like. Last question, do your wheels have any offset or did you put wheel spacers?

Did you have to do any alignment mods like maxing out the caster? I have the same set up as you except I have OEM UCAs. But I do plan on putting 33s but thinking about clearance issues. Trying to avoid bmc. I’m assuming you didn’t have to do a bmc?

Thanks! Yeah i have 1.25 spidertrax. The trail wheels i have from a 2012 4Runner are +15mm offset (meaning about .5 inch inboard). With the spacers, i actually started rubbing more. I wouldnt recommend the spacers unless you’re ready to start trimming things and maybe a BMC.

Good question: so with the Ironman UCAs, they come with 4 degrees extra caster built in. So i actually had no rubbing issues at all with factory alignment specs.
Then i added wheel spacers (see my reply about this above). With the wheels out an extra 1.25 inches, i started rubbing badly. Using the extra caster possibilities from the Ironman UCAs, i talked to the alignment shop and had them set the caster near 3 degrees positive - no issues since!
And no BMC.

As posted above, Ironman 4x4 uca has 4 degrees castor. I have 285 75r16 and experience on rub in the front and no BMC. When rock crawling, the rear does rub against the rear bumper. I will cut that before I got out next time
Wheels are 0 offset 16x … I forgot
